So Fr. Peter Lonergan, and Rev. Cyril and Elizabeth Playfair were all characters from The Quiet Man.  You’ll see many of the cast members in here.  Michaleen Óg Flynn was driving the cart a few strips ago.

Of all the custom decorative elements in the town, I’m most proud of those stained glass windows.  Each one has a unique, Gaelic inscription (in about a 4 point font) which can’t be seen through the barricades here.  I’d say the wee posters in the pub run a close second.
