Báidín Fheilimí is the name of a popular Irish song. The name, in Irish, means “Phelim’s little boat,” and it tells the tale of a fisherman and his little boat.

At the beginning of the song, Phelim and his little boat make their way to Gola Island.

After leaving Gola Island, Phelim and his little boat make their way to nearby Tory Island.  It is one of a number of islands off the coast of Ireland with that name.

Tory Island is known for its high winds and sharp rocks. Both of which seem to pose a bit of a problem for poor Phelim.
